Awesome Animal Logo Ideas – Because It’s a Jungle Out There!

Why have famous brands used animal images in their logo designs?

Because they look cute, they are eye catching and because the use of right animal can portray the right image of your brand without use of any words.

Brands also use mammal images because they are easily recognizable throughout the world. A ten year old poor and homeless child from Africa might not know what a swoosh represents but he can certainly associate with a leaping cat or a rabbit with a bow around its neck.

There are hundreds of brands in the market who have decided to adapt mammal qualities to portray features of their brand, like WWF, puma, lacoste, CNBC, Ferrari and many more.

Below are some awesome animal logo ideas that you can use for your brand mark:

1.Use animals that represent the right image of your company symbolically:

Different creatures symbolize different personality traits. For example, if you want to give the message of loyalty, the perfect animal for you is a dog. For royalty, it’s a lion. For cleverness, you can use a fox and for feminine mystic, you can use a cat. Try to determine the message you want to portray through your company trademark and keep your customers in mind while you do it then choose your mammal accordingly. If your product’s prominent feature is speed then you can use a cheetah or a falcon image. If your product is about strength then you can use a rhinoceros or an elephant image in your logo design.

2.Use fonts according to the animal’s personality:

The font style that should be used in your business logo should be complementing the overall theme of the animal. For example, if you are using a polar bear for your company mark then you can use big and thick fonts for text like Day Poster Black or Poster Bodoni BT. Similarly, if you are using a black cat for your design then you can use curvier fonts like Indy script or Curlz MT. You can also experiment with a combination of the two by using heavy fonts with a delicate mammal’s image but be careful not to confuse the overall theme of the design.

3.Use animal image effects according to your business nature:

Similar to the fonts, you can use free animal logo images with different effects according to your business nature. You can use them with 3 dimensional effects, illustrations, paintings, shadow effect or sketches; whatever is relevant to your business. For example, if it is a printing press, then you can use an animal image with Origami effect and if you are a women’s clothing line designer then you can use thin lined animal illustrations to give a feel of innovation and creativity to your company trademark.
