a poem that I wrote?
-I wrote this a few hours ago. I’d just like to hear general opinions——————————————————————————-
Three little words
Life would be much easier
If you would only say them
The world knows that you want to
Simple words that could be slipped onto your tongues
Actions can only say so much
In the end
The roles of parent and child
Have been reversed
Has it always been this way?
In hindsight we realize
This occurred when the pen touched the paper
As you signed away your holy bonds
Your rose colored glasses
are slipping off your faces
We all watch
As you delude yourselves into thinking that they are fine
They never really fit anyway, did they?
Three little words
The opposite of what you claim to mean
I could say them for you
Maybe then we could all rest
“I hate you”
It kind of jumps around from thought to thought. I almost think it would be better to just use the first three lines and then jump to the last line.
